RESEARCH STUDY FOR PATIENTS WITH ADVANCED DIABETES

If you  suffer from Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes mellitus and experience any of the associated complications of diabetes, including renal failure, painful neuropathy, wide swings in blood glucose, gastroparesis, hypoglycemic unawareness, or nonhealing wound,  you would be a candidate for this study investigating the use of Metabolic Activation Therapy.  This therapy, developed by Dr. Tom Aoki, former Head of Research and Metabolism at Harvard’s Joslin Clinic, involves a weekly treatment to restore normal metabolism which has been shown to be severely impaired in patients suffering from diabetes.

Participants must be:

·        Diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes mellitus

·        Suffering from one of the complications of diabetes as listed above

·        Be compliant with their medical regimens

·        Be able to come to one of our locations for a weekly treatment
