Starting a Clinic
Out treatment can be performed in a physician’s office or an
outpatient hospital setting. Advanced Diabetes Treatment Centers will work
with hospital staff to select the appropriate site for a clinic. ADTC will
design, equip, and staff the center. We will work with your endocrinology
staff to select a medical director for the clinic. He or she will be trained
in the treatment protocol. Community physicians will be educated as part of
ADTC outreach programs so that the appropriate patients may be selected for
therapy. ADTC will do all billing, collecting, preauthorization, and
third-party interactions for the treatments. ADTC will sublease the clinic
space from the hospital and compensate the Medical Director with a yearly
salary
